LAKE IS SHUT TUESDAY 29TH MAY 2007 AND RE-OPENS TUESDAY 5TH JUNE 7AM, DUE TO THE FISH SPAWNING.
Greenhalgh Lodge Fishery is one of the north-west's premier day ticket fisheries. The lake contains carp up to 25lb with a sprinkling of silver fish.
The lake was created in 1994 and soon built up a reputation as a popular day ticket event for people of all ages and abilities.
The 3 acre, 38 peg lake is open from March to October and entry is allowed from 7.00 until 21.30 or dusk (whichever comes first).
Match fishing takes place every Saturday from 8.00 to 14.00 and for this the entire lake is closed.
Prices are £7 for adults and £5.50 for concessions, disabled and children under 16 holding a concessionary fishing license
Location
From the M55 take junction 3 for Kirkham then turn right off the roundabout down the A585 towards Fleetwood. Go past the Ashiana restaurant and take the next left down Greenhalgh Lane. Follow the road down for about a mile and just before the T-junction the lake is on the right hand side.
Car parking is available and day tickets can be purchased from the cabin or the bailiff who will be in the vicinity.
